In the distant future, humanity has mastered both genetic engineering and time travel. These technologies once transformed civilization, allowing people to rewrite the past and even redesign human life itself. Everything changed after a catastrophic temporal disaster. To prevent reality from collapsing, the World Government outlawed both technologies and erased all public memory of their existence. Human society was deliberately reset to an early 20th-century level of everyday technology, preserving a fragile equilibrium.
To protect this carefully maintained timeline, the Time Administration Bureau was established. Gu Zhenzhen, Qiao Dabao, and He En are three young agents working for one of its regional divisions. Living undercover as ordinary civilians, they take on part-time jobs to blend into society. Whenever history is disrupted by illegal time travelers, however, they are dispatched across time to restore the timeline before ambition, regret, or desperation can rewrite the future...
